We are looking to appoint a Warehouse and Distribution Manager to join our Wacol team.You will be responsible for a small team of warehouse employees supplying parts and equipment out of a modern clean warehousing environment. Critical to this role is your ability to take a small team of dedicated warehouse employees and through training and ongoing development. Provide direction on day-to-day activities with a priority on increasing customer satisfaction by improving internal warehousing practices.
Key Responsibilities include: Lead and motivate the warehouse team to ensure the achievement of key business targets.Effective and accurate management of inwards and outwards goods with a focus on continuous improvement.Achieve positive customer/stakeholder relationships.To be successful in this role you will have:
Prior experience in a warehouse/distribution operation in a supervisory/management roleExperience transforming warehouse efficiencyBe willing to be hands on and work within the team to learn, review and implement new or revised proceduresPassionate and focused on workplace health and safetyBe able to show initiative, solve problems and make decisions.Good level of attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.Competent with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.Ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals.In return, the successful candidate will receive:
