About your roleWe are currently searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Warehouse Manager to join our Australian Botanical Products business, based in Hallam. This role will manage all warehouse functions including inwards goods, stock movements, dispatch and 3rd party storage providers.
This role will provide the opportunity to define and execute the long-term strategy for the broader Warehouse function and you will be instrumental in continuously improving our operations to develop a strong culture and bring the team along a journey of change.
This role is an on-site role based at our Hallam facility and will be required in the office 5 days a week.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the warehousing of raw and packaging materialsManage processes, storage and issue of products to productions areas to ensure full supply of raw materials, packaging and consumablesEnsure all safety standard, Dangerous Goods and Chain of Responsibility requirements are adhered to and in line with regulationsDirect management, development and coaching of the warehousing team ensuring work is completed in a safe and efficient mannerDesign and implement procedures to maintain optimal stock levelsIdentify, drive and embed continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency programsMaintaining the highest standards of compliance, safety, and cleanliness to create an environment that celebrates and nurtures excellence.Management of 3rd party provider agreementManagement of the freight budgetSynchronising warehouse activities with production to maximise operational efficiencyWho are we looking for?Significant experience in previous warehouse management ideally within a Pharmaceutical or FMCG environmentSuperior leadership skills, able to build rapport quickly and effectively to create a highly collaborative working environmentProven experience in team management, change management, and driving employee engagement initiativesDemonstrated experience as a change agent, improving existing processes and implementation of change practicesExperience implementing a EBA grading structure and competency framework will be highly advantageousAbility to work under pressure to meet deadlines and resilience and able to recover from setbacksExcellent stakeholder and negotiation skills to build relationships at all levelsExposure to a TGA and Dangerous Goods environment will be highly regarded, however is not essentialKnowledge of ERP and WMS systems will be highly regardedBenefits at IXOMFor a start, you'll work for a large global organisation, where you'll not only earn a competitive salary, but you'll also have access to an Employee Assistance Program, a recognition program, and a range of health and wellness benefits and discounts.
