We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse Manager who is looking for a leadership role in a successful business. The chosen applicant will be responsible for:
Leading a team of 10 employees with the assistance of two leading hands. Directing and assisting in the professional development of warehouse staff to ensure a motivated and highly skilled Receiving team. Managing inbound raw materials to ensure the correct materials are continuously made available for Production. Managing the distribution of outbound raw materials to other A.H. Beard sites, ensuring transport costs are maintained and goods are delivered on time. Closely monitoring movement of raw materials to ensure variances are minimized via regular cycle counting and stocktakes. Building relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers, transport and maintenance providers to ensure the ongoing maintenance of service delivery and product quality at a competitive price. Using cutting edge technology to continually improve warehouse efficiency and accuracy and generate relevant reports for the business. Ensuring opportunities to improve WHS are harnessed to minimize risks posed by hazards. To fulfil the requirements of the role, the successful applicant will possess the following experience and competencies:
Inventory control experience. Sound knowledge of computer literacy including previous experience working with a warehouse management system. Experience working with Business Central (Wiise) and Microsoft Suites highly regarded. Working knowledge of manufacturing processes. Ability to motivate and lead a team. Ability to adapt communication style to build working relationships with a range of stakeholders. Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to new situations and challenges quickly. Project management experience and/or experience implementing change within a work environment would be highly regarded. An attractive remuneration package is on offer.
