We are seeking an experienced
Warehouse Manager
to join the team at our
Murarrie Warehouse , with at least
3+ years
in the field and a passion for driving excellence.
About the Role:
As Warehouse Manager at Jack in the Box, you'll oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient, organised, and effective management of our logistics. We're looking for someone with a proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, stays focused when under pressure, balancing customer needs with operational efficiency. Your expertise in logistics and strong organisational skills will play a key role.
We are seeking a driven, practical 'hands-on' person with a 'can-do' attitude who can manage multiple concurrent responsibilities. This is a very busy role, and you need to be able to multitask.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organise and supervise all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving of containers, movement, storing, shipping and inventory management
Implement and manage stock control measurements linked to the CIN7 stock control system
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and procedures
Maintain good facility management and be responsible for good housekeeping in the warehouse
Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organising and directing staff
Operate and maintain warehouse machinery
Minimise damages and dispatch errors through high levels of quality control
Pick & Pack orders
Liaise with freight carriers
Other duties as required
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of
3+ years
of experience in warehouse operations, with at least
2 years
in a supervisory or management role
High level of computer literacy, being proficient in both Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems (CIN7 highly desirable)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
Knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control and movement procedures
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks effectively
Good problem-solving capability
Solid and current experience in forklift operation and current Forklift licence
Current Police Check or willing to undertake
