The Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, including inventory management, order picking and packing, shipping and receiving, and quality control of our warehouse in Larapinta, Queensland. You will be responsible for ensuring the warehouse operates at peak efficiency and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Responsibilities Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, order picking and packing, shipping and receiving, and quality control Assess the required operational workload and assign team members to the relevant areas of the warehouse Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse operations and increase efficiency Set KPI benchmarks and hold team members accountable to all agreed SLAs to drive high performance, meet customer demand and achieve operational efficiency Train, supervise and evaluate warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed Collaborate with other departments to optimise processes and maintain effective communication Establish and manage ongoing processes for receiving, handling and storing goods Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits and cycle counts Ensure Work Health and Safety policies are followed and create a safety-conscious workplace culture Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations Inspire the team through a shared vision and purpose aligned with wider business strategy, ensuring each team member can make a meaningful contribution Operate forklifts and other machinery to pick and store stock when necessary About you Minimum 5 years proven track record of leadership or supervisory role within a warehouse environment Formal qualification in logistics, warehousing, freight or distribution (highly regarded) Proficient in using warehouse management software (preferably NetSuite WMS) High level of attention to detail Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment Team Player Must be located within 30km South West of Brisbane city If this sounds like the role for you, then please submit your application via Seek!
