Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Are you an experienced hands-on Warehouse Manager with the desire to take ownership and be part of something special? Do you have exceptional warehouse organisational skills, a solid understanding of the logistics environment, and the ability to thrive in an autonomous, hands-on environment? Can you work under pressure and still stay focused on delivering what the customer needs?
If so, you may be the person that we are looking for to help us manage our warehouse, drive excellent service delivery to our existing distribution customer base, and help build new business throughout QLD.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be integral in expertly managing all aspects of storage, pick and pack, receivals of containers, and dispatch. You will work closely with the QLD sales team in delivering excellent service to our customers. You will be responsible for creating and implementing systems and processes and managing staff. By doing this, you will drive best practice and continuous improvement to maximise efficiencies and maintain operational performance and workplace safety.
We are seeking a driven, practical 'hands-on' person with a 'can-do' attitude who can manage multiple concurrent responsibilities. This is a very busy role and you need to be able to multitask. By doing this, you will be rewarded with a strong remuneration package.
Ultimately, success in the role will be demonstrated by your ability to expertly manage the warehouse in an efficient, safe, and controlled manner whilst delivering a high level of customer service within the distribution network in the QLD marketplace.
The key responsibilities of the role will be as follows:
Manage and deliver all daily warehouse operationsOperate and maintain warehouse machineryPick & Pack ordersStringent Inventory controlImplement, manage and refine systems and processes within the warehouseMinimise damages and dispatch errors through high levels of quality controlCo-ordinate, train and manage warehouse staffProvide regular reporting to head officeCreate and manage a safe working environment for all team membersTo be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
