Warehouse ManagerAbout the job Are you a Manufacturing Warehouse Manager with proven leadership and people management experience?
As a Warehouse Manager within our Manufacturing & Supply team, you will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the site's warehousing job functions.
Major tasks include materials receiving, production order set up, label stores, sampling, and dispatch.
This role also involves the expectation to challenge and improve current work processes to create savings in both time and cost for the department.
You will be a member of the Warehouse HSE committee.

Main responsibilities:Promote strong Warehouse team member engagementEnsure safe work practices are adhered to and Quality compliant activities are completed at all timesEffective training plans are in place and competency assessments are completedHave positive and frequent interaction with peers from other Sanofi Virginia departmentsDrive process improvement benefits to provide growth opportunities for Warehouse staffEngage with key Warehouse suppliers to ensure equipment and service levels are running to a high standardProvide the information, instruction, training, and supervision necessary to ensure the health and safety of Warehouse employeesOrganise the required audits, inspections, and training courses to remain compliant with regulatory and company policiesEnsure Warehouse operations practices are Quality compliant, and look for areas of improvement and simplification to reduce workloadMaintain a team Skills Matrix for coverage of Roles and Shifts, and release the monthly roster for the Warehouse teamWork with Crown for MHE servicing needs, and future equipment capabilities, and with Colby for all racking enquiries, repairs & projectsWork with Chep on good pallet supply and pallet qualityOversee the Waste Disposal process, procedural and physical dump runsEnsure all cycle counts are completed per the quarterly and annual targetsManage the incoming Truck Dock and Container Yard operations enabling a smooth delivery unload flowPursue sustainability improvement ideas for Warehouse materialsAbout youQualifications: Experience: Prior experience in a Manufacturing environment - FMCG or Consumer industry preferred
Proven examples of success in managing and inspiring a diverse team and promoting teamwork
Soft/Technical Skills: Strong leadership and coaching abilities
Proactive and positive in nature, bring a sense of energy!
