Federal Hospitality Equipment, a leading supplier of commercial kitchen and hospitality equipment, is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Wingfield, South Australia.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products. Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and implement effective inventory control procedures. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order processing, accurate order fulfilment, and efficient workflow. Maintain proper handling of products, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance operational efficiency. Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to warehouse operations and escalate when necessary. Collaborate with the National Sales and State Manager to develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures. Prepare regular reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, productivity, and quality metrics. Requirements:
Experienced on Double deep high reach and counter balance forklifts with a minimum of 5 yrs experience. Warehouse Manager or supervisor role within the hospitality equipment or related white goods industry. Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to be self-driven while working unsupervised. Proficient in using warehouse management systems and software. SAP Business one experience is preferred. Good understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications or qualifications in logistics and supply chain management. Current forklift license is mandatory. Your application will include the following questions:
