As we continue to grow, so too does our team. We are looking for the right candidate to take on the role of Warehouse & Logistics Trainee. This is a Full-Time role, based in our Port Macquarie Shipyard on the beautiful Hastings River in Port Macquarie, NSW.
As this role is a traineeship, the successful applicant will undertake a Certificate III in Warehousing and Logistics while employed with Birdon.
Position Overview
This role is designed to be a key entry point into the Warehousing & Logistics space for the right candidate. On a day-to-day basis, the Warehouse & Logistics Trainee will assist in the everyday operations of the Warehouse to ensure effective supply and distribution of parts, materials, products etc. to the business.
Key Responsibilities Receiving Correct storage of goods - non and dangerous goods Dispatch Plant operations - once licensed and qualified Data Entry Housekeeping Qualifications, Experience and Skills Completed Year 12 (or equivalent). Good written and verbal skills. Good computer skills. Service-oriented team player with a "make it happen safely" attitude.
