An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and adaptable professional to fill the fulltime role of Warehouse Leading Hand at our Mackay Warehouse.About the role:Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be required to manage a team of 20 people to ensure the replenishment of goods is carried out efficiently, picking of goods and the loading of trucks is conducted accurately, product integrity is maintained, and department KPI's are met.Duties:Ensure all equipment is serviced and maintained in a safe working condition and arrange maintenance as requiredMonitor staff performance to expectations of job function, counselling and disciplining when necessaryAct accordingly to reduce warehouse expenses through minimising damages, wastage, and overtimeAllocate and monitor work of replenishment, assembly, and cleaning staffSkills and Experience:A current HR/MR truck licence (Not essential but advantageous)A current forklift licence (Essential)Proven experience in warehousing, distribution, and logistics managementExceptional time management and communication skillsExperience managing rosters and resources within budget constraintsSkilled in inventory controlAn understanding of HACCP, WHS, and HRProven ability to manage an existing team while implementing changesApplicants may be subject to a pre-employment medicalIf you believe you are the right person to join our business, please apply with your cover letter and resume.Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
