The Warehouse Forklift Operator/ Administration - Export is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all warehouse activities, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and maintaining records of goods. In this role, you will spend approximately 40% of your time operating a Forklift, efficiently managing cross-stock and palletised goods. Your strong Forklift skills will be essential for navigating tight warehouse spaces, and your high attention to detail will ensure accuracy across various cargo lines.
You are required to hold a current Forklift Licence and have demonstrated Forklift experience, and a commitment to maintaining safety and operational standards.
What you will be doing… Coordinating with internal teams to gather required documents and information for export shipments. Overseeing shipment coordination, including scheduling and tracking of both incoming and outgoing shipments. Operating a Forklift to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring flawless execution in all loading and unloading tasks. Handling pallets and cartons and engaging in repetitive hand stacking; demonstrating strong attention to detail. Navigating tight and hard-to-reach spaces effectively while maintaining a high level of safety. Applying load restraint techniques and follow correct procedures for securing loads. Utilising chain/ratchet dogs and slipsheet attachments as needed. Verifying and inspecting incoming shipments for quality and accuracy. Preparing shipping documents and arranging transportation for outgoing orders. Inputting data into inventory management systems to maintain accurate records. Demonstrating flexibility by being available for overtime when required. Do you have… Valid Forklift Licence. Previous experience in a similar position, ideally within the transport/container industry. Demonstrated export experience and familiarity with cross-stock and palletised goods. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Demonstrated experience managing administrative responsibilities within a Warehouse environment. Clear verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additional Information… Successful applicants will be required to complete a Fit to Work Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screening and Police Check. We will provide all relevant onsite training.
