YOUR ROLE CEVA Logistics is looking for a driven and focused Warehouse Engineer to join our team at Orchard Hills NSW.
Your mission will be to identify process improvements across our contract logistics warehouse business operations and drive both profit improvements and efficiencies.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Work with sites to improve their processes in line with LEAN and continuous improvement methodologiesDeliver project improvements with focus on identifying opportunities, process re-engineering, driving efficiency through process change, and redesigning and implementing operational layout changesProvide guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct and complete Kaizen activities and through training, coaching and data analysisDevelop and maintain BPE tools: such as 5S & Scheduling tool, performance boards, productivity reports, utilisation reportsGuide and drive our operations teams to achieve and maintain target levels on our site accreditation program.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Our ideal candidate is tertiary qualified in industrial engineering, logistics and supply chain management, industrial design (or similar) and has solid experience gained in a related role in any industry (preference for logistics / supply chain, manufacturing, resources, or related).
Other attributes:
Knowledge and hands-on experience with utilising process improvement tools, Kaizen, Lean, etc.Clear communication, influencing and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendationsStrong MS Excel skills including use of VLOOKUPS, pivot tables (bonus: VBA, Macros)Bonus: 2D drawing/design experience in AutoCAD or similar.
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and national police check.
