About the Role: We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking Warehousing and Distribution Store Person to operate during day shifts, between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Commencing immediately, and working as part of our team located at our Wynnum warehouses you will be involved in organising and executing all day to day warehouse operations as well as assisting with modernising our warehousing and distribution processes. Key Responsibilities Include: Responsible for organising and controlling all warehouse and distribution movementsOverseeing and organising work for casual/seasonal employees as and when they are added to our team Picking and Packing Parcel OrdersPacking and Wrapping Palletised OrdersReceiving and unloading stock deliveries and containersUsing a computerised system to dispatch and manifest consignmentsEnsuring all orders are dispatched accurately and in a timely mannerLiaising with transport companies to book freight servicesMaintaining a well organised, tidy warehouseOperating as an effective team member and working with our production and sales colleagues to improve our efficiencies and streamline our processes. Key Attributes & Experience: Certificate in Warehousing / Distribution is desired, or Previous Warehouse experience is desired for this roleMust hold a current Forklift Licence Must have excellent computer literacy skills and an ability to learn and adapt to new software programsAble to demonstrate proactive, accurate, and a high quality of workStrong positive communication skills, proactive and ability to work in team environments or individually Familiarity with inventory management software such as CIN7 or Fishbowl is highly desired If this job opportunity sounds like the right fit for you, we would love to hear from you.
