Our client based in Braeside are a market-leader who specialise in rebuilding and servicing heavy diesel and mobile plant equipment. They are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Dispatch Storeperson to join their team. This position will be permanent full-time 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday, with occasional paid overtime.Responsibilities/duties will include:Receipt and processing of parts and enginesPicking parts required for various operationsPreparing and packing engines and spare parts for dispatchLoading & Unloading Parts & Engines onto trucks with the Hyster ForkliftOrganising freight pickup and managing shipping documentationObtaining quotes for freight servicesStoring and organising parts returned from operationsKeeping the store clean and orderlyLiaising with administration regarding stock quantity discrepanciesEntering dispatch details into the registerCoordinating with the workshop about required consumables and organising purchase ordersManaging materials and items required for parts store and dispatch activities Qualifications and ExperienceProven experience in warehouse dispatch is essentialValid Victorian (or Australian equivalent) driver's license is requiredLF Forklift License is mandatory; experience with Hyster forklifts is a plusProficiency in WMS/ERP systems is crucial (experience with Tencia Software is advantageous but not essential)Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office functions is necessaryPrevious experience in the automotive or spare parts industry is highly desirablePhysically fit and capable of manual labourStrong attention to detailStrong focus on occupational health and safety (OH&S)Experience in picking and packing ordersAbility to assist with stocktakes and other inventory initiativesEnsuring accurate recordkeeping and meticulous attention to detailFamiliarity with brands such as Deutz, Kubota, Hatz, Yanmar, Kohler, and Mann Filters would be beneficialHow to Apply: Click the Apply Now button and follow the Application Process through or alternatively please email me directly on .
