As a result of strong growth, we have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Dispatch Operator, for an immediate start at our modern engineering workshop at Molendinar.
We are looking for a trustworthy individual with integrity who will bring a positive can-do attitude to the position and the team. This role would suit an experienced forklift operator with a high attention to detail and a manufacturing industry background.
About you The successful applicant will join a team with great work ethic and will thrive in an environment that consists of packing/storage and dispatch of product to local and interstate clients. This is a hands on physical role and you will need to be comfortable being on your feet all day, lifting, bending and carrying product where required. Care and attention to detail are essential, along with the drive and energy to ensure we maintain our high level of customer satisfaction and on time deliveries.
We also support career advanced and training opportunities for these who are interested in operating CNC equipment such as Lasers, Brake Press, Turret Punch after a qualifying period.
Tasks General dispatch duties, picking, packing, loading and unloading goodsEnsuring that all jobs are checked for accuracy against job specifications before pack/dispatch Check all incoming goods for accuracy and compliance. Allocate and store incoming goods as per the Inwards Goods procedureEnsuring that all jobs are correctly packed for safe destination arrivalLoad and unload vehicles as required ensuring all manual handling and forklift safety protocols are always followedForklift operationEnsuring correct disposal of all waste packaging product Ensuring the Dispatch area is maintained to a high standard of neatness and safety.
