Warehouse & Despatch Worker

As a Warehousing & Despatch Worker, you will be responsible for accurate picking, packing and storage of stock from the warehouse, and goods manufactured on a just in time basis. The role also takes responsibility for container unloading. The nature of the work requires exceptional accuracy in order picking. 
More specifically your duties will include the following:
Safely operate a forkliftAccurately identify stock on paperworkAccurately pick stockManhandle stock and packagingAccurately measure itemsMeasure and cut timber using a drop sawAssemble crates/skids/etc using a nail gunRecord outgoing stockWillingly accept other duties as directedIn determining suitability for the role, the following criteria are considered essential:
Available for the day shift working hours of 5am-1.30pm Monday-Thursday and 5am-11am Friday OR the afternoon shift working hours of 1pm-9.30pm Monday-Thursday and 11am-5pm FridayKnowledge in packing processes and systemsKnowledge in warehousing systemsSkilled in using hand and power toolsAbility to read/write English and undertake basic maths calculationsAbility to follow Work Instructions and ProceduresLicenced to operate a forklift (HR LF)
