Please visit the ADF Careers Eligibility Page for more details. Your role: It all starts with the warehouse. You'll play a vital role in keeping the Army moving. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you'll be running supply, distribution and getting essential military equipment to where they're needed. Whether in barracks, on exercise, in the field or on operations you will be making sure soldiers are provided with everything they need. You and your team will be responsible for all Army supplies, from body armour to protect soldiers, to medical equipment for relief missions and night vision goggles for spotting threats. Your duties include, but aren't limited to: Driving military vehicles such as trucks and forklifts Selecting, packaging, distributing, and disposal of damaged stock Handling, storing and distributing dangerous goods Planning requirements for ordering, returning and maintaining military equipment You will enjoy benefits including, but not limited to: Free medical and dental, including access to allied health, rehabilitation, and mental health specialists Competitive salary package with incremental salary increases as you gain experience Generous Superannuation of 16.4% - a huge 5.4% over the Australian standard A subsidised home loan or rent allowance Allowances and bonuses which recognise specialist skills and employment types The ability to package your salary Job security Career progression and development Good work/life balance Travel opportunities Excellent social and fitness facilities Paid training Location: Following your initial military training, you could be posted to one of the many Army bases and units across Australia. The majority of these positions are located in North QLD, QLD, SA and the NT. Salary: In the Army you'll get paid a good salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications. Upon commencing training, your starting salary will be approximately $56,385 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation and your pay will increase as you progress through training. On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you could earn $76,700 per annum plus generous super.
