JOB SUMMARY: The main focus for the Warehouse Coordinator is to manage the parts receiving and distribution within the Port Macquarie manufacturing and service departments. This role requires a strong Safety focus and inventory control experience to ensure all stock picked and allocated correctly in a timely and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Sign/accept stock in accordance to checks/inspections and reject any unsafe/incorrect deliveriesCheck of incoming goods against quality inspection criteria and communicate discrepancies with purchasing and manufacturing teamIdentifying and processing incoming aftermarket parts and communicating with the service team to distribute accordingly.Provide a strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility; Safely unload trucks, vans and containers in a timely manner (using a forklift as needed)Check all paperwork and document all discrepancies in line with receiving/NCR proceduresReceipt goods into Baseplan as per procedure, noting locations for put-away in a timely mannerMaintain stock locations in Baseplan for pick accuracyLabel stock and ensure goods are packed suitably (boxes and/or pallets are not damaged or faulty)Put stock away in designated location(s), ensure racking and shelves are in good condition and optimally spaced/laid outEscalate any supply issues with purchasing team as a priorityPick parts and distribute to the Port Macquarie and national team as requiredMaintain stock levels of consumable items as requiredKeep work area clean and clear of obstructionsKeep work area in order and organised using Lean and 6S principlesCycle Counting / Stocktake as per JLG procedureAssist all staff and work in a team environmentPerform general warehouse duties as requested by your managerMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2 years in similar roleAbility to effectively communicate – written and verbalStrong literacy and numeracy skills to ensure accuracy when picking, packing and data entryExperience with computer systemsAbility to work as an individual and within a team environmentStrong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detailPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Forklift license and current LO/EWP licensesStrong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.Chain of Responsibility exposure/trainingReceiving/Dispatch/loading experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE: Standing and sitting for extended periods of timeWalking between aisles and departmentsOperation of forklift which includes sitting and climbing up into forklift #J-18808-Ljbffr
