What You'll Do: You'll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that our stock flows seamlessly to our customers. This job requires a 3am start (Monday to Friday), and regular overtime on Saturday. Your key responsibilities will include: Stock Management: Book in stock from various sources, including growers and interstate offices, and resolve discrepancies in Proof of Delivery (POD) and returned stock. Customer Coordination: Follow up on stock rejections, ensuring timely returns to the warehouse, accurate credits, and smooth transfers. Inventory Control: Maintain First In, First Out (FIFO) stock rotation to minimize wastage, and collaborate with our Value Add team. Scheduling & Freight: Book delivery timeslots, coordinate with transport companies, and handle freight-related queries and requirements. Record Keeping: Keep precise records of pallet and crate counts, and ensure freight efficiency by managing pallet heights. Maintenance & Safety: Oversee forklift maintenance and cleanliness, maintain a tidy and safe warehouse environment, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Team Engagement: Actively participate in team meetings and manage various ad hoc tasks as needed. What We Need From You: Truck licence (required) 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, preferably in a fresh produce environment. Ability to work in cold storage environments. Strong time management, planning, and communication skills. Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to juggle competing priorities. Leadership skills and the ability to supervise workers while adhering to company policies and legislative requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
