The OpportunityLooking for an experienced Forklift operator/ Warehouse Assistant to join the team at Somerton.
Role ResponsibilitiesOrder pickingOperation of MHE (Order Picker and Forklift)Assisting with loading and unloading trucks or other transportation vehiclesLabelling and storing parts accuratelyCompleting and verifying paperwork to ensure accurate tracking of parts in the warehouse and to our customersPacking & wrapping parts for distributionGeneral warehouse duties as requiredDoes this sound like you?Previous warehousing experience in a fast-paced environment - essentialLF Licence (Forklift) - essentialLO Licence (Order Picker) - desirableMechanical experience - desirableIntermediate computer skillsAbility to work alone and as part of a teamEye for detail - with quality control inspection of all parts carried out before leaving the warehouseAbility to communicate effectivelyUnderstanding of safe work practices - OH&SAutomotive knowledge would be advantageous for this roleWe know that sometimes people need non-standard work hours, and we would be happy to discuss the options available in this role, or similar roles across our business.
