Warehouse Assistant

About Us: At Safe Coat we specialize in high-quality flooring solutions, providing exceptional service and results to our clients. We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to help us maintain our high standards of efficiency and organisation. 
Responsibilities: Cleaning/maintenance of machinery including the forklift. Refill all gas bottles/jerry cans.Maintain a clean and safe work environment. This includes the kitchenette, toilets, bins, floors, work benches and the office. Whilst also ensuring the warehouse entrance is clear.Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (training provided if necessary).Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment. This includes putting back into stock material returns.Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.Follow all safety protocols and procedures.Requirements: Previous experience is preferred but not essential. We will provide on the job training.Reliable and hard working. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate - dependant on experience.The available position is casual (2-3 days per week) with the potential for fulltime employment after the probation period for the right candidate.Out of hours and penalty rate work regularly available, including weekends.Full PPE and work uniforms provided.Opportunities for professional development and training.A supportive and collaborative work environment.
