Unloading shipping containers Assisting with the receipt of incoming goods Manual handling, lifting, moving, packing, unpacking and storing of product Organisational planning in preparation for stock arrival Maintaining correct inventory stock levels Select and allocate stock to orders. Packing of outgoing goods to ensure safe and efficient dispatch. Maintain general tidiness and cleanliness in and around the warehouse. Assisting with customer deliveries, when required Furniture installation and assembly, when required What do I need to be successful in this role? Minimum 2 years experience working in warehouse operations Have an eye for detail, high accuracy rate and a flair for juggling tasks and priorities Have a good level of physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre large and heavy items Good knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management Experience in working both within a team and autonomously Customer service experience in any capacity Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety Working as part of a close knit team, our Warehouse Assistants are responsible for ensuring the effective and orderly storage and dispatch of high-end furniture. Full Drivers Licence is required and essential A forklift Licence is required and essential A-LO Order Picker License is required and essential This busy and fast paced role is a full time permanent opportunity, with regular days of work being Monday to Friday. Flexibility to be available to work on Saturday and Sunday will be highly regarded. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a physical health assessment.
