In 2008 we restructured out of IT and focused on the Audio Visual (AV) market.In the last decade Westan has pivoted its portfolio and supply to all facets of the AV Industry, not just in Australia but also New Zealand and Asia- Pacific.About the role:Duties include but are not limited to:Assisting warehouse team to process daily dispatch and intake.Liaising with couriers, freight forwarders, internal staff and customers.Receiving inventory from regular container arrivals – both physical handling and administrative processing.Repacking, restocking and accompanying administration.Assisting with regular stock takes and stock reports.Supporting the sales team and branch managers on sales and projects.Maintaining a clean and tidy, safe and fully-supplied warehouse space.Skills and experience:The successful applicant must have:Some experience in warehouse operation, including receipt, dispatch, picking and packing.Forklift operation experience with certification favourable.A full and current car licence.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.The ability to work under pressure and multitask, with meticulous attention to detail.Essential attributes include:Physically fit and energetic.Strong work ethic.Self-motivated.Detail-oriented.About You:The successful applicant will be confident, self-motivated, work well in a team environment, organised and capable of working unsupervised, have strong relationship-building skills, have exceptional attention to detail and have an easy outgoing attitude.Empathy, Open Communication, Entrepreneurial Spirit, and Collaboration are some of the key culture codecs of our organisation.If you think you are the right applicant for the job, apply today with your resume and covering letter.
