Widely regarded as Australia's leading rotary wing support organisation, we employ over 200 people to ensure availability of mission ready aircraft for operational flights, deployments around the globe and rescue missions including bushfire and flood assist.Dedicated to providing full sustainment solutions, training and end to end logistics support for the Royal Australian Navy's fleet of MH-60R Seahawk helicopters, we pride ourselves on our team values fostering a culture of innovation, learning and development where we celebrate and value our people.Your responsibilities will include:As we grow our logistics team, we are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our dynamic Logistics team and manage warehouse activities supporting the MH-60R fleet.Located on the beautiful South Coast of NSW, you will work with the Royal Australian Navy and internal stakeholders to execute warehouse activities to meet Defence and Aviation management requirements.You will be responsible for:Driving and implementing warehouse and distribution activitiesManaging and mentoring warehouse staffDriving and executing continuous improvement activities for warehouse operationsAbout you:To see you succeed in this role, you will hold significant warehouse management experience within a defence or regulated environment, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully leading high performing teams.To be successful in this role you will also have:Extensive experience in Defence or similar logistics area, including supply chain and asset managementWarehouse management experience including extensive experience in warehouse operations, aviation supply chain, materials management, goods receipt, storage/handling, and distribution of equipment, dangerous goodsAbility to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security ClearanceQualifications in Logistics or Supply Chain ManagementAdvanced skills in:MILISS4 Hanna or similar SAP experienceSpecial Requirements:Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.What we offer you:At Sikorsky Australia, we value our team and the contributions they make every day.
