About the Role: Our client is a leading building supply company, who are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator & Warehouse Coordinator to join their Sydney team based in Prestons.
This diverse role combines administrative support with hands-on warehouse operations, making it perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Office Administration & Sales Support Answer incoming calls and deliver exceptional customer service.
Assist sales representatives with stock checks, pricing, and samples.
Manage customer inquiries related to orders, deliveries, and pricing.
Process orders, credits, and purchase orders in the system.
Coordinate machining and transfer orders, including receipting and tracking.
Maintain records for cash sale tracking accounts and invoice coding.
Organize and archive documentation and manage freight bookings.
Warehouse Operations Conduct start-up and safety checks on machinery, including forklifts.
Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift.
Unload deliveries, verify stock against paperwork, and store items appropriately.
Pick and pack orders with precision and maintain inventory records.
Assist with stock takes and ensure the warehouse remains clean and organized.
Handle timber products, including "racking" and "de-racking" as required.
About You: Minimum 2 years' experience in administration and/or warehouse operations.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Proficiency in data entry and inventory management systems.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
