It also provides Victoria's Adult Cystic Fibrosis and Pulmonary Hyperextension Services.

The Intensive Care Unit is a state-of-the-art facility with 68 beds, admitting more than 3,000 patients a year.
The Role The team at The Alfred Hospital is looking for someone with excellent customer service and patient focus to join their team.
You will join our dynamic and passionate team in the position of Ward Clerk located in our state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit.
You will be responsible for the coordination of communication, patient services, and clerical functions as directed by the Nurse Manager.
Your goal is to promote and maintain good customer relations with patients, visitors, and other hospital staff.
About You Customer relations and excellent communication skills are essential to this role.
You will ensure all patients, visitors, work colleagues, and a variety of health professionals are provided with guidance and accurate information pertaining to the ward environment.
Experience with managing telephones and reception is essential.
Excellent clerical and computer skills and the ability to multitask are core skills required.
Completion of a medical terminology course or experience working with medical terminology would be favourable.
