As a Ward Clerk your responsibilities will include: Perform a broad range of administration duties including:Answer and redirect callsOrganise appointments and prepare admission paperworkConduct follow-up requests and make reminder calls for visitsMaintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical recordsPerform Health Fund Checks as requiredManage the collection of excesses/co-paymentsCoordinate with staff from other departmentsComplete other clerical tasks such as data entrySelection Criteria: Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsHighly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailExperience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)Works well independently and within a teamFlexible to work a variety of shifts – early/late shifts & weekend workWebPas Hospital system experience (Desired)To Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form.
