You must be passionate about being in the front line dealing with; the public, our patients and our staff. You must also enjoy a varied and fast-paced administration role. The successful Applicant would need to be flexible and have strong interpersonal and time management skills.
Key responsibilities of this job include: Admission and discharge processes to ensure appropriate bed management and utilisation.Managing incoming and outgoing calls to the ward.Provide timely and accurate information to queries by patients, visitors and other staff and departments.Work alongside medical staff, colleagues, patients and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients.Compilation and management of patient admission papers and clinical notes.About you To succeed in this role you will be an effective and approachable administrative professional with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills, superior problem solving and conflict resolution abilities. This role calls for individuals with a strong capacity to manage a variety of administrative tasks and priorities over the course of the work day.
Demonstrated minimum 1 year experience in a medical administrative positionDemonstrated knowledge of medical terminologyExcellent communication and customer service skillsDemonstrated accurate data entry and strong attention to detailDemonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlinesWillingness to be flexibleAdvanced experience with Microsoft Office and Intranet applicationsRequirements Must provide aNational Police check conducted within the previous 12 monthsAccording to the role, Ramsay may require aWorking-With-Children check andproof of immunisation against infectious diseases.To Apply All applications must be lodged online.
