The Opportunity This opportunity will see you joining our team on our Orthopaedic Ward 2A, providing administrative support and assistance to patients and their families.
You will also assist the administration and clinical teams by coordinating the necessary clerical requirements for patients' admission to discharge.
You must be passionate about being in the front line dealing with the public, our patients and our staff.
You must also enjoy a varied and fast paced administration role.
This role will see you working Tuesday – Friday, 8:00am to 1:00pm.

This role calls for individuals with a strong capacity to manage a variety of administrative tasks and priorities over the course of the workday.
Key Selection Criteria Demonstrated one year experience in a medical administrative role Experience with patient chart filing and chart auditing Excellent communication and customer service skills Proven ability to work under pressure and maintain good working relationships with others Exceptional organisation skills and a high attention to detail with the ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes A Medical Terminology Certificate or proof of recent in house use of same would be advantageous About Us John Flynn Private Hospital is a 354 bed, acute care hospital located at Tugun, which is on the southern end of the Gold Coast, within 5 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport.
The hospital provides services to the population of the Gold Coast and the Tweed Coast extending into the NSW Northern Rivers area.
John Flynn provides a wide range of health care services with a 24 hour emergency department, comprehensive cardiac services, general and orthopaedic surgery, cancer services, medical, maternity and paediatrics, renal dialysis, day surgery and rehabilitation services.
