Ward 4C is a 36 bed general unit, including a 10 bed Medical Assessment Unit (MAU), general medical ward and cardiac unit catering for the needs of the local community. We support continuing education for all staff through our education department and have clinical nurse educators on the ward.

This is a part time role working 5 days per fortnight. The set days are Thur/Fri one week then Wed/Thur/Fri the next week.
As a Ward Clerk your responsibilities will include:
providing patient-centred customer service including:greet all customershandle enquiries with a friendly and professional mannerbook and reschedule appointmentsmaintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical recordsliaise with medical staffliaison with other areas of the hospitalmanagement of patient electronic records ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of patient information.Essential Criteria:
• experience in an acute patient focused healthcare facility/hospital,
• highly developed interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary work environments,
• good computer literacy & sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel),
• a track record of providing great service and customer experience,
• strong interpersonal communication and report writing skills,
• ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
