Advanced Tile Contractors Pty Ltd located in Shepparton, Victoria, have been operating for 25 years. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team. The position is permanent and the salary is $74,000 to $76,000 per annum. Please send your resume and application to ****** Include:Examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces, and laying out work.Preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces.Spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles, and setting tiles in position.Using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes.Ensuring tiles are correctly aligned and spaced.Grouting tiles, and cleaning and removing excess grout.Applying waterproofing systems.Laying floors of granolithic, terrazzo, cement, or similar composition.Laying coloured tiles in patterns to create mosaics.Laying slate, marble, and glass tiles on external and internal walls and floors to provide protective and decorative finishes.Overseeing the work of contractors employed to undertake tiling for the business.Requirements for the Position:Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Management).Certificate III in Floor and Wall Tiling.At least 1 year of experience in Floor and Wall Tiling.Excellent English speaking and writing skills.Job Type: Full-timePay: $74,000.00 – $76,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: In personApplication Deadline: 16/11/2024Expected Start Date: 16/11/2024
