Walking a New Path Together Project CoordinatorKatherine West Health Board (KWHB) is currently looking for a Walking a New Path Together Project Coordinator. This position is for a male Project Coordinator, who will work primarily with male community members and young men from the Katherine West region in alignment with cultural protocols. The position will be well suited to someone with a tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Social Work, Youth Work, or Outdoor Education.Established in 1998, Katherine West Health Board (KWHB) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled organisation that provides a range of clinical, preventative, and public health services to clients in the Katherine West Region of the Northern Territory. With four major health care centres and a range of satellite centres, KWHB services an area over two times the size of Tasmania (162,000km²), helping to improve the health and wellbeing of some of the most remote communities in Australia.About the OpportunityKatherine West Health Board has funding for a proactive program supporting early intervention for 11-17 year old males at risk of DFSV. The Walking a New Path Together Project Coordinator will support two project officers to engage community members for a co-design approach for the program.
