About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operator Trainer to provide high-quality training and assessment services across operators of heavy machinery, trucks, semi-tippers, and crushing equipment. In this crucial role, you will ensure our workforce is well-trained, operates safely and efficiently, and complies with industry standards, while maintaining competency across all levels of operators and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on training for various plant operations, including loader, excavator, dozer, roller, trucks, crushing and screening equipment etc. Assess operator competency in line with relevant industry standards and qualifications. Develop and update training materials and assessment tools. Ensure all training material meets the requirements of WA Limestone systems, Client and legislative standards. Assess employee's training progress using a variety of recognised assessment methods and techniques. Provide feedback to trainees and support their development. Train and assess machine/truck operators on site. Coordinate and manage training data, preparing reports on staff development programs and assessments. Conduct site inductions as required. Provide support to the Quarry Managers and Supervisors in identifying development, upskilling and training opportunities of personnel. Preparing and implementing appropriate delivery and assessment schedules. Responsible for VOC assessments across operators of heavy machinery, trucks, semi-tippers, and crushing equipment. Work as relief operator when required. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during training. Actively participate and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of WA Limestone work practices. About you:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent. Extensive experience operating heavy equipment in mining, civil, or bulk earthworks. 5+ years' experience as a Trainer Assessor. National Police Clearance. White Card. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Interested?
