Waking Night Residential Support Worker Salary Range (FTE) £27,603 - £29,565 per annum 40 hours, 52 weeks This role is also available as a Term Time only role (37 weeks), Hourly rate £13.22 - £14.16 We are not currently able to accept applicants requiring sponsorship Starting salary is subject to qualifications

After completion of relevant RMT courses and increased length of service there is a potential to earn up to £33,810 *********************************************** Applicants who apply for this role at the current time will receive a Welcome Bonus of £1500 (subject to Tax/NI) after successful completion of their 6-month probation period
An opportunity has become available to join Ruskin Mill College, as part of the committed team focusing on the holistic needs of the students.
The students benefit from an extensive range of nutritional, therapeutic and medical support at each college that is reflected in the college sessions and in the residential provision.
This role can be both physically/emotionally demanding, and you must have the confidence/patience to adapt to the challenging behaviours that the young people can present.
The roles are based at our residential homes based throughout Nailsworth, Stroud and Stonehouse.
Access to a vehicle would be advantageous as public transport links are limited.
The key duties of this role will include: The supervision and support of students in their residential settings with a range of domestic activities such as cooking, shopping, cleaning and laundry. The supervision of the students at night, including behaviour management, medication handling and carrying out household tasks when residents are sleeping. Completion of relevant paperwork is required. Ruskin Mill College provides innovative and experiential education and training for young people marginalised by disadvantage, exclusion or special learning needs.
