Job Description Mise en Place and Food PreparationAssists with receiving and storage of goodsCleans and maintains equipment and premisesMaintains hygienic standards and proceduresAssists with the preparation of functions and serviceAssists with cellar operationsAssists with the preparation of an outlet for service including:Cleaning of equipmentSorting of stores equipmentCleaning and maintaining glassware for serviceCleaning and maintain flatware for serviceCleaning and maintain chinaware for servicePreparing waiter stationsPreparing buffet servicePreparing service equipment and materialsAssisting with table preparationEstablishes and maintains effective employee working relationshipsAttends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduledAttends and participates in training sessions as scheduledActively informs guests of product options and offeringTakes a diligent and pro-active approach to guest care and service at all times.Assists with other duties as assignedQualifications High School and /or Diploma in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or related fieldFood service experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations preferred.Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency.Able to speak, read and write English & Vietnamese.
