Waiter SupervisorSalary: $63,000 per annumJob – Type: Full-TimeAbout the role:We are seeking a passionate and experienced hospitality professional to join our leadership team as the Waiter Supervisor. You will work closely with the resort restaurant team to achieve high standards of service, bring enjoyable dining experiences to our customers and assist with functional events. Candidates need to be able to work weekends, public holidays, and evenings.Requirement:Minimum 2 years relevant supervisory experienceHave satisfactorily completed the appropriate standard of industry trainingHave experience supervising and training other staffAble to assist in provision of on-the-job trainingHave good knowledge of different types of food and drinksFluent in EnglishAbility to work in a busy team environmentGood personality and customer service skillsFlexibility to work different shifts based on resort's needsCurrently hold food safety license and RSAMain Duties:Supervise and train other waitersClean tables, glasses and take care of glassware and equipmentWelcome customers and lead them to their seatsIntroduce our menus and describe different dishes and drinksMake recommendations on specialtiesTake ordersDeliver orders to the table in a timely mannerAdhere to food, sanitary and safety standards and maintaining relevant workplace health and safety proceduresInspect the quality and appearance of the dishes, ensuring they uphold standardsIdentify and resolve any special requirements, wants, and needs of customersHandle complaintsDeliver checks and accept paymentCollaborate closely with other staff membersOffer assistance to other staff membersAssist manager to ensure and maintain the standard of customer serviceFollow resort/restaurant policies and proceduresMeet and maintain the health and safety and anti-discrimination required by food industry and government regulationsMaintain current Food safety and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualificationBalance cash register and supervise payments received from customers#J-18808-Ljbffr
