Waiter Supervisor
Salary: $63,000 per annum
Job – Type: Full-Time
About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced hospitality professional to join our leadership team as the Waiter Supervisor. You will work closely with the resort restaurant team to achieve high standards of service, bring enjoyable dining experiences to our customers and assist with functional events. Candidates need to be able to work weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
Requirement:

Minimum 2 years relevant supervisory experience
Have satisfactorily completed the appropriate standard of industry training
Have experience supervising and training other staff
Able to assist in provision of on-the-job training
Have good knowledge of different types of food and drinks
Fluent in English
Ability to work in a busy team environment
Good personality and customer service skills
Flexibility to work different shifts based on resort's needs
Currently hold food safety license and RSA

Main Duties:

Supervise and train other waiters
Clean tables, glasses and take care of glassware and equipment
Welcome customers and lead them to their seats
Introduce our menus and describe different dishes and drinks
Make recommendations on specialties
Take orders
Deliver orders to the table in a timely manner
Adhere to food, sanitary and safety standards and maintaining relevant workplace health and safety procedures
Inspect the quality and appearance of the dishes, ensuring they uphold standards
Identify and resolve any special requirements, wants, and needs of customers
Handle complaints
Deliver checks and accept payment
Collaborate closely with other staff members
Offer assistance to other staff members
Assist manager to ensure and maintain the standard of customer service
Follow resort/restaurant policies and procedures
Meet and maintain the health and safety and anti-discrimination required by food industry and government regulations
Maintain current Food safety and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification
Balance cash register and supervise payments received from customers
