A loving family in Wahroonga are seeking a nurturing, caring, and organized part-time nanny to assist with the household and take care of their three children aged 4, 6, and 8 years old.The family is seeking a committed and reliable household manager to assist with (but not limited to) tidying, laundry, light cooking, changing bed sheets, entertaining the children in the afternoon, and supporting the children with homework.This position is suited for someone who is calm, gentle, organized, enjoys engaging with children, can adapt to varying schedules, and can help support Mom with the busy household.Reliability, great communication skills, honesty, kindness, and professionalism are also valued.The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows:Supervise and engage with the children in age-appropriate activitiesConduct light housekeeping duties, including washing, dishwashing, putting clothes away, general tidying up, laundry, and changing bed sheetsLight meal preparation and cookingGrocery ShoppingRunning errandsHomework assistanceContract length: 6 months initially with the potential to extend long termPay: From $45 – $50 per hour depending on experienceThe days and normal hours are – 3 days – Up to 15 hours per weekFlexible days/hours for the right candidateIdeally, the days would be:Monday 12pm – 4/5pmThursday 12pm – 4/5pmFriday 12pm – 4/5pmThe family's expectations from their nanny are:Must have a minimum of 3 years nanny/household manager or childcare experienceHave a current first aid certificateHave a current Working with Children CheckJob Reference: LLW213Please quote job reference in the comments section of the application form.
