Reporting to the Director of Reman Services, you will be responsible for promoting safety awareness and ensuring a strong safety culture for shop operations at site.
Where is the position located? This is a full-time position at our site in Welshpool, WA.
What will your typical day look like? Facilitate daily production meetings with direct reports. Provide regular performance feedback to team members, coaching employees and contingent workforce for development of the individual and the team. Manage customer relationships through regular joint meetings to effectively align delivery performance with customer needs and expectations, thereby maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Meet P&L budget and expenditure targets from the business leadership. Ensure achievement of key performance indicators, including but not limited to SQDC – Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, as devised by management. Co-develop effective tactical plans and objectives to meet company goals and objectives and executing on those plans. Co-develop continuous improvement efforts and executing on them. Responsible for regular operational process and procedural reviews in collaboration with engineering, quality and EHS functions, as they relate to repair and reman work. What do we want to know about you? Minimum of 7 years' experience with at least 3 in repair and re-manufacturing operations of highly engineered industrial products or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience in leadership roles including building, growing, and leading teams of direct skilled workers. Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles, in which the roles occupied had high-impact customer interactions. Trade qualifications in either Mechanical or Electrical background. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Humble, knowledgeable leader, with a bias towards action and continuous improvement. Superb soft skills in managing customers and difficult situations. Ability to influence, and lead, with frequent high-impact communication with OHV leadership and key customer interfaces. Six Sigma/Quality training will be highly regarded. Strong engineering, operations, process management experience. Degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, or relevant experience. Who are we?
