Due to significant growth and a solid future pipeline for Energy Projects across Australia and beyond, Arup has created a new opportunity for a Technical Energy Leader to continue building the national capability. This role is focused on providing leadership and support with projects, primarily focused on but not limited to:

Wind
Solar PV
Electrical transmission and distribution
Hydrogen production (electrolysis and supporting infrastructure)
Battery energy storage
Pumped hydro design

What will I do?
Contribute to the development and support the execution of our Energy business strategies. Specifically supporting the continued growth and development of the Arup Energy practice within Western Australia in the first instance, but also across the Australasian region more broadly.
Support the development of a diverse service offering which differentiates Arup in the marketplace and serves to attract and retain the best talent.
Drive client engagement especially within the Western Australia market, building relationships with key local clients and proactively identifying new business opportunities to support the growth of the energy business within the state.
Establish strong client relationships that underpins the growth of the Arup brand and offering both within the Western Australia and broader Australasian markets.
Support the advance of skills and knowledge sharing across the region, identifying and addressing the requirements for team members to become leading professionals in energy.
What will I bring?

Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications.
Relevant industry project experience within a consulting or government business environment.
Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines – and related procedures including OH&S.
Solid experience in putting together tenders for projects covering different resources and locations, considering both the cost and benefit.
