In this role, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective anaesthetic care to patients in rural and remote areas of Western Australia. Position: Consultant - Anaesthetists
Location: Western Australia
Role Highlights:

Provide comprehensive clinical service, governance and leadership in Anaesthetics to promote quality health outcomes for patients of WA Country Health Service.
Ensure the provision of comprehensive anaesthetic service and airway management to patients.
Provision of anaesthetic services for patients having surgical, medical, obstetric or investigational procedures, including continuous monitoring during such procedures.
Pre-operative assessment and early post-operative care of patients.
Supervision of anaesthesia trainees and other staff as appropriate.

Qualifications:

AHPRA registration.
Fellowship of the Australasian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetics, or equivalent.
Demonstrated extensive experience in anaesthesia in general, obstetrics, paediatric and emergency anaesthesia.
Knowledge and understanding of the rural anaesthesia setting.
Ability to work as an effective team member.
Highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the Aboriginal Cultural Respect Framework.
