This is for a Permanent or Fixed Term Fulltime Time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of permanency An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Mental Health team in the Gascoyne Region – Midwest. To be successful, you will have... Experience in assessment, case management and therapy of children, adolescents and their families presenting with mental health problems at an advanced level Knowledge and understanding of emotional, behavioural, psychological and psychiatric disorders of children and adolescents Effective communication, liaison and interpersonal skills Effective negotiation, problem solving, analytical and conflict resolution skills Experience in community work and liaison Sound knowledge of WA Mental Health Act 2014 and other relevant legislation Eligible for / or in possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers' licence or other specialised licence class. Position Profile: Provide a community-based child and adolescent mental health nursing service. Demonstrate competent nursing practice by delivering individualised care using a problem-solving approach to children, adolescents with mental health problems and their families.
