Bay Building are looking for a driven individual that is excited to work 'on the tools', with a key eye for detail and takes pride in their work.
We are looking for a well-diverse trade to kick off our internal trade division for WA and look to undertake a multitude of trade work in the business.
What will your day look like? This exciting opportunity is predominately an on-road position.
Your day at Bay Building will always be different; you will be undertaking carpentry first fix (Stud/timber roof/wall construction, cladding, eaves, minor structural repairs etc.)
and second fix (Doors, skirts, trims etc.).
You will be key to demolition works and will undertake roof reports for the company.
Further to your carpentry experience, we are looking for experience in minor plaster patching (Under 5 m2), minor painting to small ceilings, doors, and touch-ups, fencing, gutter and downpipe maintenance work included.
You will be equipped to undertake emergency make safes to property.
You will have the opportunity to schedule your days based on the work allocated and working with the internal supervisors on your projects.
Requirements for the role: A trade certificate qualification is required (carpentry qualification is required)Experience in undertaking an all-rounder approach with a multi-skilled trade backgroundExcellent time management for scheduling your week.Professionalism and great customer and stakeholder communication skills are key.Basic Tools for day-to-day usage.Availability for afterhours work and overtime where required.Working at Heights certification is preferredBay Building WA is a family-oriented business, backed by National security and support around Australia.
