The Opportunity Join a dedicated team at the forefront of trauma care and patient recovery as a VSTORM Outcomes Data Collector Assistant and support the Victorian State Trauma Outcomes Research Monitoring (VSTORM) Group and the Victorian Orthopaedic Trauma Outcomes Registry (VOTOR).
Using a structured protocol, the Data Collector Assistant will conduct important telephone interviews to gather critical data on patients' physical, mental and health-related recovery from trauma.
Your contributions will play a significant role in advancing our understanding of trauma outcomes and driving meaningful improvements in healthcare services for trauma patients throughout Victoria.
Responsibilities: Conduct timely follow-up interviews at specific intervals post-injury. Accurately record patient responses in the VSTORM database. Work closely with patients to ensure feedback is collected in their preferred way, including via telephone or email. Provide vital administrative support by arranging appointments, handling mail-outs, and addressing routine patient inquiries. Qualifications: We are seeking candidates with relevant educational qualifications, such as a certificate in office administration, or a combination of experience and training in similar fields.
Strong communication and organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage time and meet deadlines will also be crucial.
