Vocationally Registered General Practitioner (VR GP)

to join our

Medicare Urgent Care Clinic

over the

December/January

period. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, short-term, episodic care for urgent conditions that are not immediately life-threatening.

(Launceston is a DPA location)Urgent Care Services:Minor illnesses : respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary tract infections, and STIsMinor injuries : closed fractures, lacerations, simple eye injuries, and minor burnsProcedures offered : wound management, abscess incision and drainage, basic fracture management, IV antibiotics and fluids, catheter management, and foreign body removal from ear/noseEssential Criteria:FRACGP or FACRRMAdvanced Skills Training in Emergency Medicine preferredBLS or ALS2

certification preferredUnconditional

AHPRA registrationEligible for a Medicare Provider NumberRecent experience in

Emergency Medicine

or

rural medicineExcellent clinical skills and a passion for patient-centred careCurrent
