VR General Practitioner for work at Newstead Medical - Launceston Located in the stunning Tamar Valley in Launceston, Tasmania, Newstead Medical (including Kings Meadows Medical Centre and Urgent Care Centre Launceston) is a well-established and locally owned multi-site practice. We are seeking part-time and full-time General Practitioners to join our team. Co-located with an existing pathology collection and pharmacy, our practices are mixed-billing and service a large and diverse patient population. We are accredited for teaching GP registrars, medical students and nursing students.  We offer flexible working hours and are supported by friendly, well resourced high quality nursing, management and administration teams. Vocational registration or access to VR MBS items At least 3 years medical work experience Unconditional AHPRA registration Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work well within a professional, friendly workplace team Excellent clinical skills Interest and recent experience in emergency medicine would be advantageous for Urgent Care work Involvement in teaching About us:     About Launceston: [link removed] Earning potential between 60%-65% of gross billings to the right candidate.
