As we deepen our impact in the financial services sector, your role will be pivotal in driving financial strategy, securing new enterprise business, and understanding the needs of our expanding global customer base. You will lead a high-calibre finance team, ensuring our financial health while providing clear, actionable guidance to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors. Your role will also involve overseeing the risk and legal departments and partnering with multiple stakeholders across the business to provide a commercial lens and analytical insight that drives better, more profitable decisions. Key Responsibilities Financial strategy: Lead and manage all aspects of the finance function, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. Strategic planning: Partner with the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team to support and execute the company's strategic financial plan. Financial reporting: Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and the completion of the annual audit. Fundraising: Lead fundraising efforts in partnership with the CEO & Founders, preparing for our Series B in late 2025. M&A: Lead any M&A investigations and execution, in collaboration with advisors. Risk management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, while developing and implementing robust internal controls. Operational efficiency: Provide insightful financial analysis and data-driven recommendations to support informed decision-making across the organisation. What We're Looking For We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven leader who is ready to step into their first CFO role. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is ambitious, clever, and eager to make a significant impact in a high-growth environment. We're looking for someone who is assertive, and inquisitive, with the ability to engage in frank, constructive conversations with department heads. You'll need to provide strong financial and strategic insights that will help align the business with its growth objectives and ensure the company stays on course to achieve ambitious goals. As the head of the finance department, you should be adept at building and leading a high-performing team, developing and executing financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives. This includes managing cash flow, budgeting, fundraising, and optimising financial resources to fuel our next stage of growth. While a CPA/CA designation is a plus, as is experience with a B2B SaaS company and exposure to a high-growth environment, the right mindset and leadership qualities are most critical.
