As part of the Landsmith Collection, it is dedicated to sustainable, regenerative farming and the pursuit of excellence in everything it does – from the soil through to the customer experience.Position Overview:Reporting to the CFO, Landsmith Collection, the Voyager Estate Company Accountant will oversee all aspects of financial management, processes, and controls including inventory, sales, product costing, tax, and statutory compliance.
This person will also perform a vital business partnering role to support Voyager Estate's leadership team with the critical and timely decision-making required to drive robust commercial outcomes.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Timely preparation of monthly KPI's and management accounts including performance against budget and projections.Preparation of annual budgets.Management of balance sheet, particularly around the accurate recording, effective reconciliation, and reporting of inventory, fixed assets, and payroll liabilities.Maintenance of the company ERP system.Management of accounting processes around sales, sales pricing, product costing, and gross margin.Co-ordination of the annual statutory financial accounts process.Overseeing the periodical stock takes required within the business.Leading and mentoring the local finance team.Providing support to the payroll function where required.SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:Previous experience in a similar role.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.Concern for quality, attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy.Ability to work within and help maintain a cohesive team.Maintains a coachable spirit.A good knowledge of IT systems and accounting software.Driver's licence and ability to travel domestically.Wine/Beverage and/or Hospitality industry experience would be preferable but is not compulsory.Becoming part of the Voyager Estate team means joining a dynamic and passionate business that has sustainability at its heart.If this is something that interests you, please email ****** with any questions you may have or simply apply with a cover letter detailing why you're the right person for the job.#J-18808-Ljbffr
