Details of the role:The role of a Volunteer Workshop Assistant is to assist in the preparation and set up of wheelchairs and other equipment with the support of our technician.
Responsibilities:Assist with the preparation of the workshop and equipment.Assist with other various maintenance and equipment related tasks in the workshop.You will not assist with duties associated with the direct care of any clients.Benefits:Provides you with a sense of purpose, personal and professional growth.Make a positive contribution to the Cerebral Palsy community.Support you to make a career change, explore new experiences and make new social connections.Develop confidence and build new skills.Gain hands-on experience working with children and adults with cerebral palsy and similar conditions.Dates & Times:Days are flexible, but Tuesday is a great day to support the team.
