Details of the role:
We are looking for a wonderful volunteer to support our therapy team with a children Hydrotherapy program. This unique program is looking to run on a Tuesday or Wednesday during school term in Dubbo. Hydrotherapy is very important to the well-being of people with cerebral palsy.
Water-based therapy may help to improve muscle tone, relax joints and soft tissues, and the buoyancy of the water allows freedom of movement that may not be possible in land-based therapy. Plus, it is fun. So come along and lend a hand!
The role of Volunteer Hydrotherapy Pool support is to welcome our Hydrotherapy clients as they enter the centre. Volunteers are also required to keep an eye on the clients in the pool, as an extra safety measure. Volunteers are not responsible for any emergency or lifesaving duties.

Dates & Times:
Term 1 - Tuesday and/or Wednesday, 10am to 1pm.
Role requirements:

16 years and above.
NDIS Worker Screening.
Working with Children Check (NSW).
Working with Vulnerable People (ACT).
